Whether you’re using the browser or desktop application, Rowboat will never collect or store the contents of the files you open.

If you have a Rowboat+ account, you may choose to upload your files for access to the library and to sharing features, in which case your data will be stored on our servers. Otherwise, the WebAssembly (WASM) technology that powers browser Rowboat means that it runs completely locally, and no data is uploaded for processing or storage unless and until you say so.

Rowboat Desktop is a downloadable application that ensures your entire process remains local on your own machine.
